Here’s How to Get Healthy Skin

9 Tips to Get a Glowing Skin

We all want glowing, healthy skin regardless of our age. Here at 100% Pure, we receive a lot of questions on how to get that dewy complexion (GP’s makeup-free selfies are definitely inspiration). So, we decided to tackle the issue head-on by approaching it from every angle. Even the smallest changes can make a big impact: diet, exercise, supplements, skincare routines, and even a bit of self-tanner/blush/bronzer can enhance your skin’s natural radiance.

1. Good Sleep and a Healthy Diet

We treat our skin from the inside out by getting enough sleep, eating a clean diet, sweating every day, and drinking plenty of water. We also use an antioxidant-rich skin serum with nutrients to give our skin an extra boost.

2. Apply Acid Peel Once a Week

We use a glycolic acid peel every morning to get rid of dead skin cells and give our skin a healthy glow. This method is better than makeup because it lasts all week long!

3. Morning Skin-Care

If you want to have soft, glowing skin all day long, it’s important to start your morning with a good skincare routine. We recommend starting with a gentle cleanser and following up with antioxidant-rich serums and super-hydrating creams. For an extra boost of exfoliation, use a skin brush before getting in the shower.

4. Vitamin C

Using a topical antioxidant that contains 20% vitamin C and hyaluronic acid, is the best way to maximize results after you step out of the shower or exfoliate.

5. Face Oil or Moisturizer

Give your face a chance to absorb the product by waiting a few minutes, then apply makeup as normal. Doing this every morning will ensure healthy and vibrant skin that doesn’t require much coverage from foundation or concealer.

6. Apply Self-Tanner

A touch of self-tanner can add a warm glow to any complexion. Good tanning water doesn’t transfer onto clothes. You can apply it before getting dressed with no fear of staining your clothing. The tan develops within several hours and is natural looking yet noticeable.

7. Highlighter

If you want a more intense luminosity, a highlighter is a way to go. It’s a pearlescent cream that comes in a variety of pale shades and can be used under makeup, without makeup, mixed with moisturizer or foundation, or as a literal highlight on cheekbones, brow bones, and even the Cupid’s bow.

8. Blush and Bronzer

For those with fairer skin, a light touch of blush or bronzer can enhance your complexion noticeably.

If you have darker skin, however, opting for a creamier bronzer will give you a dewy finish that’s tough to beat.

9. Finishing Touches

If you’re a minimalist, try an all-in-one compact that contains blush, highlighter, bronzer, and lip tint.
