Without commitments, I’d relish extended showers throughout the day. Nothing feels as comforting and energizing as a scorching shower! Unfortunately, my husband swears that it’s like standing under a fire due to our old-fashioned water heater system, which doesn’t always reach temperatures appropriate for romance or relaxation. Every morning, I have to drag myself out of bed and make my way down the street for a 7 a.m. yoga session. It’s not easy, but once I’m there stretching and bending with everyone else in the class, all that effort pays off—it’s invigorating and exciting! When I’m back at home, I try to do as much of my routine in the shower as possible.
